Manufacturer's Brand Overview: [Edit]
The latest buzz is all about Who's Your Daddy's new energy drink. Dubbed the "King of Energy," the company plans to launch the beverage in national retail stores this summer. Once the product gains visibility in the U.S market, the Who's Your Daddy "King of Energy" drink will roll out on a global scale. This energy drink packs a caffeine punch and its unique Cranberry Pineapple flavor, cutting edge design and highly marketable name immediately sets it apart from the rest of the energy-drink market.

Sport Energy Shot - Pomegranate

Product Type:Functional: Energy Shot; Container: 2 fl oz
BevNET Review: Who's Your Daddy's entry into the shot category comes in the form of a zero calorie pomegranate inspired formulation. Flavor is a very tart almost cherry like taste, and it has only a touch of sweetness (sucralose and ace-k blend). Plus, a light touch of tanginess hits your tongue on the finish, which helps hide the functional ingredients of the shot. That being said, we'd rate this shot slightly above average compared to others that we've tried. As for the packaging, Who's Your Daddy uses the popular 2 ounce format, which makes it easily identifiable as a shot, but doesn't allow the product to easily differentiate. We like the bright yellow color of the label and the prime placement of the WYD logo, but there's just a bit too much going on on the label. Specifically, there's the unnecessary "Sport" modifier, as well as a lot of subtext near the bottom of the bottle. On this package size, less is more, and all of this stuff only stands to confuse the buyer -- who is probably seeking energy above everything else. Overall, we like the unique flavor of this shot and the yellow color scheme, but too much text and a stock bottle stand in the way of this product jumping off the shelves.
