“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market, a company that shares our ethos in empowering individuals on their journey to a more enriched and balanced life,” said Magic Mind co-founder and CEO William Hicks in a press release.

Prior to Magic Mind, Hicks co-founded lupini bean-based foods maker BRAMI Inc. and served as director of operations for the brand from 2016 until March 2021. According to his LinkedIn, Hicks began serving as president of California-based Magic Mind in March 2021 before transitioning to the CEO position in June 2022.

With the addition of Sprouts, the brand is now available in around 400 retailers, according to the company. At Sprouts, Magic Mind will be sold for $4.49 per unit or $24 for a 6-pack. The shots are also available online direct-to-consumer for $89.25 per 15-pack (about $5.95 per bottle) or $148.50 for a 30-pack ($4.95 per bottle).

Nguyen Coffee Supply’s RTD Line Hits Sprouts

Magic Mind isn’t the only brand rolling out nationwide in Sprouts stores. This week, Vietnamese coffee maker Nguyen Coffee Supply announced that all three of its ready-to-drink canned coffees will be included in the natural retailer’s Innovation Program, giving the brand a presence in over 400 stores across 23 states.

Made with Vietnamese robusta beans, Nguyen’s RTD cold brew coffee line features Classic Black, Coconut and Condensed Milk flavors in 12 oz. cans.

The Sprouts expansion gives the brand a presence in over 1,000 retail doors in the U.S. Last year, the brand gained national distribution in Whole Foods stores and it is also sold online direct-to-consumer. In a press release, the brand said its products are also now sold in on-premise stores in New York City, Washington, D.C., Seattle and Kansas City, and is also available through FreshDirect, Gorillas and Weee!

“In a category often called ‘crowded,’ we’re thrilled to be recognized for our product innovations offering more flavor and function to consumers through our focus on robusta coffee as a core ingredient and differentiator,” said founder and CEO Sahra Nguyen in the press release.
