Review: Renew

The third and final flavor of Daily Greens that we sampled was this one, “Renew.” The product is a blend of mint, spinach, cucumber, watermelon, dandelion, pineapple, celery, lime and Himalayan sea salt. Thanks to the use of cucumber and watermelon, the product has a very light and refreshing flavor. But don’t worry — it's still big on greens with spinach, celery and dandelion being the flavors that are most easy to taste. We also very much appreciate the tiny bit of sweetness from the pineapple, which helps mellow out the other flavors and give the drink some balance. Lastly, there's the salt, which you can definitely detect at the finish. Nutritionally, the company did a very nice job formulating this product, which has only 90 calories and 18 g of sugar per bottle. Because it is high pressure processed, the product is both more flavorful and nutritious than standard juice (the company claims that the juice has five times the nutrients of traditional juice). On the outside, this flavor uses the same round 16 oz. plastic bottle as the other flavors in the line. While the product is definitely polished and visually appealing as far as green juices are concerned, we wish there was just a little bit more in the way of visual differences between the three flavors that we sampled. Otherwise, we definitely like the brand name, which says what it is, and the nicely arranged front panel. Overall, another enjoyable flavor from Daily Greens.
