Review: Sparkling Lemonade

Alta Palla’s Sparkling Lemonade is a well-executed version of a what is effectively a classic beverage flavor. Its strengths are its relatively simple formulation (water, sugar, 5 percent lemon juice, natural flavors, citric acid) and its sharp looking can. It's very easy drinking, with just the right amount of lemon flavor and sugar for balance. It's also moderately carbonated, which we think is perfect. And being USDA Organic certified and made with Fair Trade Certified ingredients certainly doesn’t hurt either. Nutritionally, the product clocks in at 120 calories and 29g of sugar, which is certainly better than a mainstream CSD, but still far from low-calorie. Still, if it’s a back to basics type of flavor that you’re looking for, this product is a top notch choice. On the outside, the company has done a great job of making a 12 oz. soda can look really attractive. The design is vibrant and clean, with everything arranged in such a way that it both catches the eye and effectively communicates what the product is all about. All in all, this is really well put together product from start to finish.
