BevNET Review
Arrma’s Energy Drink is what we’d describe as being a citrus berry flavored formulation, with a slightly more fruity flavor than the “classic” energy drink formula. That said, it’s drinkable, but Arma doesn’t offer anything that’s new or hasn’t already been done in terms of energy drink flavor. The functional ingredients are also pretty standard, with B vitamins, caffeine, taurine, ginseng, and amino acids being the highlights. Of course, energy drinks are ultimately very image conscious products and that’s where Arma seems to have focused most of its energy. The can design is technical and aggressive in styling, with outlines of military craft in the background. The stencil-type treatment on the front of the can adds to the effect, while the white and yellow accent colors help the product have a clean and polished feel. Plus, the name Arma is simple and implies strength and energy. Ultimately, we think that the branding has done a really nice job of looking just like an energy drink, but not looking like the tons of other drinks out there on the market today. Overall, what’s on the inside is drinkable and fine, but what’s on the outside really makes this product.
