BevNET Review
Atomic X Energy Drink's main point of differentiation is its lack of carbonation. Why does this matter? According to Atomic X, carbonation actually decreases performance and energy. Perhaps this is why the few attempts to carbonate sports drinks have failed miserably. Be that as it may, Atomic X needs to convince energy drink consumers that non-carbonated is the way to go -- a difficult task to say the least. Regardless, Atomic X has done a great job with this product. The flavor is smooth and refreshing, with significantly less aftertaste than most of the products on the market today. The can is attractive, but the use of almost exclusively orange tones makes the writing difficult to read from a distance. Still, it's a clearly original effort in a category that is overloaded with knockoffs. Overall, we like Atomic X and think that it's a worthy competitor with a unique angle.
