BevNET Review

Produced in Korea since 1963, Bacchus Energy Drink is of the oldest import brands to make its way to the US. Since our first tasting of Bacchus a few years back, this product has improved significantly. The main point of improvement is in the packaging, which now has a much more polished and attractive look to it. With its striking blue, silver and gold can, it will definitely catch your eye from the large sea of competitors. As far as the taste goes, Bacchus definitely delivers. The citrus-style flavor is moderately sweet and has a slight bite to it. Minimal aftertaste makes this a product that definitely has a leg up on the Red Bull-style formulations that so many companies are using today. Overall, we really like the latest rendition of Bacchus and, with the proper marketing and distribution efforts, we believe that this product could finally make some headway in the North American market.
