Bluewater Farms: Cranberry Juice

Bluewater Farms' Cranberry Juice is the flagship product in the company's line of cranberry-based beverages. It’s made with a three-ingredient pasteurized blend of cranberries, sugar and spring water. If you’ve ever had cranberry juice, this product will taste instantly familiar. While it’s tastier than many of the shelf-stable products out there and we appreciate the touch of pulp, we don’t think that this alone is enough to make this a compelling product. Looking at the packaging, which is a text-heavy design that is need of better graphic design, our feelings are only further confirmed. Aside from making it more aesthetically pleasing, there needs to be more restraint in terms of what information is presented to the consumer. These things are currently eating up way too much space. This leaves the logo quarantined inside a small circle near the top. Ultimately, this is a decent product, but the lack of meaningful innovation and weak package design are going to be challenges. There might be some better opportunity for the company's flavored offerings, but those too feel as though they need improvement.
