We've tried every version of Celsius since their old days in glass bottles — and we can safely say that this is their best flavor to date. Using a non-carbonated base flavor of iced tea with lemon, the product has a very familiar and enjoyable taste. It's sweetened with sucralose, but you really wouldn't know it thanks to the nice flavor work that has been done to create this product. So, despite this product really being about functionality, Celsius Iced Tea with Lemon is actually quite enjoyable from a taste perspective. Functionally, this product's main selling point is its clinically validated (by the manufacturer) ability to burn calories and its energy ingredients. That's accomplished through their proprietary "MetaPlus" blend, which includes, taurine, guarana, green tea extract, caffeine, glucuronolactone, and ginger root. Also included are vitamins (B and C), chromium, sodium, and calcium. On the packaging front, Celsius has definitely created something that looks and feels like a functional product. However, there's a bit too much going on on the package, including lists of benefits and multiple typefaces that give the product a somewhat cluttered look — and potentially undermine the drink's credibility. Trimming some of these down and honing in on calorie burning and energy might help. Overall, there are a few small things that we'd like to see improved, but this is a very strong entry from Celsius.
