humm kombucha: Lemon Ginger

If there’s a flavor that’s synonymous with kombucha, it’s definitely lemon ginger. And for good reason: the addition of sharp citrus flavor and ginger heat works so well with the lightly fermented flavor that’s at the heart of kombucha. This particular product is no exception, with the lemon and ginger flavor (courtesy of organic lemon and ginger juices) making for a product that is truly gulpable. Perhaps the only knock against what the company has created is its similarity to other products on the market. Flavor differentiation seems like something that will be a challenge for Humm and other brands in the future. Packaging is nicely executed as well, with a custom 14 oz. glass bottle and an illustrated label that’s whimsical in nature. Humm has kept the front panel clean, which is a plus, making for a product that is very easy to understand. Overall, this was our favorite flavor of the Humm lineup.
