BevNET Review

Lipton Brisk’s 24 oz. can of raspberry iced tea is part of Pepsi’s larger campaign of using licensed images from Star Wars (in this case Episode I’s Darth Maul). As far as what’s inside the can, it’s sugary and sweet, using value priced ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup and instant tea. The tea flavor of this product has that distinct tart and tang that is found in all Lipton Brisk products. It definitely does not taste like tea that you’d make at home. The same can be said for the raspberry flavor, which tastes like candy more than it does raspberries. Packaging is large, and, at least in the can that we received for review, is simply a regular can of Raspberry Brisk that has been sleeve wrapped. And honestly, we like the regular package better and find it hard to believe that there are many “collectors” out there who want a can of Star Wars branded iced tea. Overall, for the 99 cent tea space, this stuff is fine, but it’s definitely not the best product in the category.
