BevNET Review

Introduced in 1884, Moxie soda was one of the first U.S. soft drinks. A rather belated extension to the Moxie brand is Moxie Energy Drink. The energy drink is in keeping with the original as the word “Moxie,” which means “energy” or “pep,” originated with the Moxie soft drink brand. Moxie Energy Drink has a very unique, fruity flavor that reminds us of plum or berry. It's a refreshing flavor that is definitely an improvement over the soft drink version of Moxie. In addition, the drink contains healthy doses of B vitamins, taurine and even gentian root. The biggest question that this product presents is whether or not consumers will adopt an energy drink that is based on a nostalgic soft drink. As a result, we think this product has niche potential at best.
