Café Au Lait is a refrigerated iced coffee that uses a cold-drip coffee to eliminate the bitterness experienced in many of its shelf-stable competitors. Featuring a milk base and flavored with sugar and chicory, New Orleans Café Au Lait has a fresh-made, smooth and creamy taste. It's quite refreshing and will please any iced coffee drinker -- there really is very little bitterness to it. Plus, the addition of chicory gives this product a unique finish. However, the packaging could use some work. Our tests concluded that this product bears too much resemblance to a grocery store milk product rather than an upscale coffee bar product. Overall, a great tasting product that must seek some packaging improvements if it wishes to compete with the likes of Starbucks, etc.
