Orgain: Sweet Vanilla Bean

For us, it’s a toss up between Orgain’s Sweet Vanilla Bean and Creamy Chocolate Fudge flavors. It has a sort of milk and soy flavor to the base, making its primary flavor very similar in style to that of a vanilla soy milk. The body of the product definitely seems less creamy and indulgent than the chocolate variety, which ultimately makes it a matter of personal preference as to which one you’ll enjoy most. Like its counterpart, this product is loaded with protein (16g), vitamins, minerals, omega-3 and amino acids and is sweetened with a blend of sugar, brown rice syrup, and stevia. In our first review of this product, we mentioned that figuring out its benefits was somewhat difficult. Fortunately, this time around they’ve added a nice little summary chart on the back panel, which should definitely help things along. Ultimately, the drink appears to work, making you feel full, nourished, and energized after consuming a single 11 oz. container. On the packaging front, they’ve given the product a big upgrade, with the silver sections gone and replaced by a more tightly designed green and white theme. The addition of a resealable “Dreamcap” top is a big plus as well. All in all, it looks like a much more mature and appealing design. Definitely worth a try.
