Purity Organic Superjuice: Kale Coconut Water Apple Spinach

Of the four flavors of Purity Organic Superjuice that we sampled, this one was hands down our favorite. The blend of kale, coconut water, apple and banana provides the base flavor of the drink, which is sweet but complex. The coconut water gives it a touch of salty flavor, which is definitely a plus. In addition, the product has ginger, celery, spinach, chlorella, lemon, and cucumber, which, despite not easily being able to distinguish each ingredient from the mix, work together very nicely. The product is sweet (25g of sugars per 8 oz. serving), but not too sweet, and we like the fact that there’s some pulpiness to the product. All in all, it’s a very enjoyable tasting juice. Visually, we like how Purity translated the brand into a new package and label format. It maintains the minimalist look, but the product line feels like it has its own identity. However, the placement of Superjuice along the bottom, rather than in the middle with the brand logo and flavor name, feels somewhat disjointed. If the company could better incorporate this -- or perhaps simply eliminate it -- we feel as though the label would look better. Otherwise, we really like what Purity has created.
