BevNET Review
Reformulated in late 2006, the diet version of Ronin is a much improved product. It still follows in the footsteps of the original, but it uses a blend of ace-k and neotame as the primary sweeteners. There's a mild aftertaste, but it's more of a vitamin aftertaste than a sweetener aftertaste. They've also toned down the aroma, which was a bit too strong for us in our initial review. Overall, it's a pleasant product to consume. The packaging hasn't changed since it hit the market, with a pale green color that's definitely less attractive than the red of the original variety. While they're not likely to change the color, we do hope that the manufacturer will put a bit more emphasis on the word "DIET". In its current form, it's easy to miss, as it's placed near the bottom of the package.
