Cookies & Green features the Incredible Hulk and an array of nutrients designed to provide strength. Its label reads, "Power.....Tap your inner strength with a boost of B complex vitamins". The drink’s color takes after its green super-hero and boy is it green! Its hue is a deeper and darker than the spirulina shake; pretty impressive considering its dairy base. The flavor is a "cookies and cream" which very much resembles Slammer's Red, White and BLUE Vanilla but with a hint of cocoa. Like other drinks in the line, it has a rather noticeable "vitamin" taste. While most adults wouldn’t have the nerve to try this strange brew, Cookies & Green should be hugely appealing to young boys, the obvious target demographic for this beverage. The nutritional proposition for those youngsters is a mixed bag. The drink is very heavy in vitamins, but also high in fats. Based on a 2000 calorie diet, an entire bottle of Cookies & Green provides 24% the Recommended Daily Intake of fat. Ultimately, Cookies & Green is, like the rest of this brand, not to be judged on its appeal to adults nor so much on its nutritional value. It is a great example of a co-branded beverage which will surely thrill many a brave lad.
