Vinki: Pomegranate

The Pomegranate flavor of Vinki is an apple cider enhanced digestive drink that is made with 25 percent juice. As far as vinegar based beverages go (there are only a handful), this product is definitely up there in terms of flavor. While the aroma of the drink is definitely that of apple cider vinegar (and something that might be off putting for some), the flavor is, fortunately, very heavy on the pomegranate. It’s something that actually pairs quite nicely with apple cider vinegar, with both of the flavors have their distinctive “tang.” Beyond that, we really like the new look of the label. It feels like something that is going to provide both enjoyment and functionality, which is definitely an accurate way to describe this product. While we’re not super fond of the name Vinki, they’ve done a better job of highlighting the “vin” in the name to tie it back to the vinegar. Otherwise, the product definitely has a polished and appealing look that’s befitting of a premium drink like this one. Overall, apple cider based drinks are definitely still a niche product for the natural channel, but this is the best of the bunch.
