ICONIC Unveils New Café au Lait Flavor and Packaging Update

unnamed-3March / 2015 New Orleans, LA – Be Well Nutrition Inc. announces the release of a third flavor and redesigned packaging for it’s ICONIC line of healthy protein drinks, a convenient breakfast, on-the-go snack, or workout recovery beverage. Be Well successfully launched the Chocolate Truffle and Vanilla Bean flavors in late 2013. Seeing strong customer demand, Be Well is excited to introduce their latest addition to the line, Café au Lait.

Café au Lait is ICONIC’s tribute to the rich coffee culture in New Orleans, where the company was founded and is based. It touts the same nutritional benefits as the previous flavors, but is also made with Colombian coffee for a bold and authentic coffee taste. ICONIC is also launching a packaging update by making the move into a plastic HDPE bottle. SRP remains at $3.49, while the package size has increased from 11 to 12 ounces.

Packed with 20 grams of premium grass-fed protein and fiber to satisfy hunger, but only 130 calories and 3 grams of sugar from organic blue agave, ICONIC brings gourmet taste to a category of drinks not typically known for pleasant taste profiles. CEO and Co-Founder Billy Bosch, says “I created ICONIC because I was tired of the thick and chalky taste of the protein drinks on the market. They were also packed full of sugar or artificial ingredients, so we worked with a certified nutritionist to develop this much healthier alternative.”

After achieving successful sales across the Gulf Coast over the last year and a half, Be Well is now expanding across the U.S. in 2015. The company joined the Accel Foods Program in 2014, a national food and beverage accelerator out of New York City. “Accel has plugged us into the food and beverage world by linking us up with mentors we could have only dreamed of,” Bosch says. “They were also instrumental in the design and positioning of the packaging update we’re now launching.
