Predict Trends with Presence Marketing, Win the Center Store with Q Drinks and Made in Nature at BevNET Live

BillWeiland970BevNET is excited to announce new speakers and panelists who will be joining BevNET Live Summer 2016 for discussions on marketing, sales and product development strategies for beverage entrepreneurs:

Bill Weiland, the CEO and Founder of Presence Sales and Marketing, will take the stage for a presentation that will offer a peek into the world of food and ingredient trends that are of key importance to emerging beverage companies. Weiland, whose brokerage firm specializes in the development of natural and organic food and beverage companies, has emerged as one of the leading experts in predicting the growth of new categories and the products within those categories that can thrive and win. Weiland will also discuss ways that companies who are thriving in natural channels can bridge the gap between consumer education around new products to brand development within the broader audience.

Jordan Silbert, Brian Ross, and John Maggiore will join a panel discussing strategies for small brands to find a home in a center-store grocery environment. Long considered a space where emerging brands face challenges from much larger competition, Silbert’s Q Drinks and Ross’s Telula are showing that entrepreneurial brands can make a convincing argument to retailers who want update and energize staid center aisles, even within placid categories like CSDs and Shelf-Stable Juices. Joined by Maggiore, a longtime consultant and broker within the natural and specialty grocery trade, the three will share ways that entrepreneurs can find strong revenues inside the store perimeter, rather than taking their chances in the more unpredictable produce and cold-box sections that are favored for the margins that immediate consumption tends to drive. Additionally, they will discuss center-store as part of a wider sales and marketing strategy and how brands can still stand out even in lower-traffic areas.

The conference, which is designed to help innovative beverage companies explore ideas around growth, investment, and retailing strategy, will take place on June 14 and 15 in Manhattan at the Metropolitan West, 639 W. 46th St., New York.
