New Beverage Showdown, BevNET’s signature beverage brand competition, will return for an eighth edition, joining the agenda at the upcoming BevNET Live Winter ’14 conference, and is expected to offer perhaps the most talented line-up of entrepreneurs and promising brands since its debut in 2011.
As in previous contests, New Beverage Showdown 8, which is presented by Venturing & Emerging Brands, an operating unit of Coca-Cola North America, will give early-stage beverage entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their business plans and brands to a panel of expert judges amid the backdrop of a room filled with nearly 600 beverage innovators, distributors, retailers and investors.
The competition will begin with a semifinal round that will take place on Monday, Dec. 8. Finalists will present the following day, with a new champion crowned at the end of BevNET Live.
Brand owners that take part in the competition with be vying for a top prize of $10,000 in cash and prizes and join the ranks of titlists including Coco Cafe, Health-Ade, Motto and Grady’s Cold-Brew.
