From the story of the IPO of a small, brand new beverage company to rare advice for the brands and leaders who are ready to take on the uncertainties of the coming year, BevNET Live Winter 2020 might be virtual, but what we’ve got is sure to be vital.
As we’ve announced, the online-only event, taking place on Dec. 7-9, will begin with a conversation with Kara Goldin, the co-founder and CEO of HINT, as she shares tales of perseverance and the elements of building one of the country’s most resonant brands.
Here’s a look at some of the other talks we’re announcing today:
Renowned “Beverage Whisperer” Ken Sadowsky, advisor to billion-dollar brands like Glaceau, Vita Coco, and Bai, will present his thoughts on the ways founders can help themselves thrive in 2021.
Morgan Ley, the financial advisor who led the attention-grabbing IPO of Laird Superfoods, Inc., will discuss the story behind the decision to take the new, tiny plant-based brand public and the implications the deal has for entrepreneurs in the beverage business.
Additionally, we’re hosting a round of interactive breakout sessions that will include presentations and Q&A on the state of trends toward premiumization and omnichannel shopping from Joan Driggs, IRI’s VP of Content and Thought Leadership, and the outlook for cannabis-based beverages from data providers Headset and Nielsen.
Don’t forget that the curtain for BevNET Live will rise on December 7 with an on-demand version of Beverage School, with advisors offering talks on key nuts-and-bolts topics for entrepreneurs. Beverage School faculty will be available for Q&A close-up discussions online throughout the day.
We also will be featuring two round of Speed Dating 1:1 virtual networking events to connects brands with industry experts. Designer Speed Dating will take place on day 2, December 8, and Retail Speed Dating will take place on day 3, December 9. Both opportunities are included with an event registration and spots are first-come, first-served.
