BOONVILLE, Calif. – February 9, 2026 – Disco Ranch wine shop in Mendocino County is debuting a new tasting room experience showcasing the wines of boutique wineries Minus Tide, Read Holland Wines, and Lussier. Shining a spotlight on these three acclaimed wineries, which have not previously had tasting rooms, the new Disco Ranch experience will be the first-ever opportunity to taste their limited-production wines, with a special focus on wines from Mendocino County.
Hosted at the Disco Ranch in downtown Boonville, located in the heart of Mendocino's beautiful Anderson Valley, three individual winery tastings will be offered. Each tasting will include a flight of three wines from the selected winery led by knowledgeable Disco Ranch owner Wendy Lamer. Designed to be casual and informative, the new tasting room experience invites guests to explore the wines of these three noteworthy wineries, each with its own selection of small-production wines.
Disco Ranch is the vision of Wendy Lamer, who has four decades of fine wine experience, and is recognized for curating an incredible selection of both local and imported wines, as well as specialty foods. The wine program is anchored by local Mendocino wineries, and also offers classic wines from France, Spain and Italy. Wines and bites can be enjoyed on the lovely patio or purchased to enjoy later.
Disco Ranch was named "one of California's best wine shops" by the San Francisco Chronicle in 2023, honored as #2 of USA Today's "10 best wine shops in the US" in 2025, and has received Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence each year since 2020. Since opening its doors in 2019, Disco Ranch quickly gained a loyal following among locals and visitors alike.
"The new tasting room experience was part of my original plan for Disco Ranch, so I am thrilled to finally bring this dream to life," said Lamer. "I found my favorite small-production, family-owned wineries, and have been keeping my eye on them for five consistent vintages while sharing their wines and stories with customers. I selected Minus Tide, Read Holland, and Lussier because—not only do they have incredible, well-deserved press and high-scoring wines—they are also great people who are all about craft and still remain humble. It's a joy to bring them together under one roof."
Lamer began her journey in wine at the age of 18 under the tutelage of Tim Hanni, who became one of the first Masters of Wine in America. Lamer's extensive knowledge of wine continued to grow while working for major wine and spirits companies, before going on to open and manage several successful wine shops in Arizona.
Tasting reservations can be made on Tock. Walk-in tastings will be offered, depending on availability. Disco Ranch welcomes guests from Thursday to Sunday from 11am-6pm and Mondays from 11am-3pm.
Also, in celebration of International White Wine Festival weekend in Anderson Valley, the winemakers from Minus Tide, Read Holland Wines, and Lussier will be pouring at the Disco Ranch open house on Sunday, February 15 from 11am-2pm.
