RUTHERFORD, Calif. (July 21, 2026) -- Sequoia Grove Winery, the historic Napa Valley producer recognized for its site-driven wines, has announced the national debut of its 2025 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc ($30 SRP). This release marks the first time a Sequoia Grove Sauvignon Blanc will be available nationwide. For the past 15 years, Sequoia Grove's Sauvignon Blanc was produced in limited quantities and offered exclusively through wine club allocations.

The release reflects Sequoia Grove's broader focus on wines of place and expands the winery's Napa Valley series, which includes the Napa Valley Chardonnay ($38) and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($55). It comes on the heels of continued investment in its vineyards, enhancements to its winemaking facility and an elevated culinary program that reimagines how guests experience wine and food.

"The 2025 Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc reflects the same philosophy that guides all of our wines -- clarity of site, vibrancy, balance and finesse," says Jesse Fox, Winemaker at Sequoia Grove. "My approach to white wines is to build body while preserving natural freshness, and this Sauvignon Blanc captures that. In Rutherford, we have access to extraordinary fruit from cooler, maritime-influenced sites across the valley, which brings a unique dimension to the wine. The new packaging complements this vision, introducing a fresh identity while honoring the deep connection to place that inspires all our wines."

The 2025 Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is composed of 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 8% Sauvignon Blanc Musqué and 7% Sémillon, sourced primarily from Oak Knoll District and the renowned Ryan's Vineyard, with additional citrus-driven characteristics from the wind-swept hills of Carneros. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and fermented in a combination of French oak and stainless steel, followed by five months of bâtonnage and extended aging on fine lees to build textural density. Sauvignon Blanc Musqué adds floral nuance and lifted aromatics, while Sémillon adds mid-palate texture and depth, resulting in a distinctive expression of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc.

With layered complexity, the 2025 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a natural companion to a wide range of dishes. "At the table, Sequoia Grove's Sauvignon Blanc is a pairing powerhouse, uniquely suited for a variety of dishes," says the winery's Executive Chef, Bryce Palmer. "Its natural acidity and freshness pair beautifully with everything from fresh seafood and peak-season vegetables to dishes with spice, herbs and vibrant flavors."

The release also introduces Sequoia Grove's updated Napa Valley Collection packaging, debuting first on the Sauvignon Blanc bottling, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to follow later this year. The new design features silhouettes of the winery's namesake Coastal Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens), alongside the historic 1908 barn that now houses the tasting room. A refined gold tree emblem and QR code on the back label connect guests to the winery's history and curated food-pairing inspiration, reinforcing Sequoia Grove's ongoing commitment to the relationship between wine, place and the table.

The 2025 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is available nationally beginning July 1, 2026.

Sequoia Grove has been highlighted as one of the first five wineries to be certified under the rigorous new standards of the Napa Green Program, which emphasizes responsible conservation, tree and forest preservation, restricted pesticides, water efficiency, carbon farming and social equity inclusion.
