Harvest Bay: All Natural Coconut Water

Made by UNFI’s Blue Marble Brands subsidiary, Harvest Bay coconut water is a not from concentrate entry. The 8.45 oz. package definitely feels small compared to some of the competition, but they’ve done a nice job of making it have its own identity (meaning they didn’t go with the stereotypical image of a beach). Still, that identity doesn’t have a ton of personality, relying on a design that feels like it is selling itself based on artisan appeal. As far as the flavor goes, this variety tastes saltier and less sweet than what you’ll find in the category leaders. That’s not a knock on this product, but its flavor definitely is a point of differentiation. Ultimately, personal preference will determine if Harvest Bay’s flavor is better than the others. Overall, Harvest Bay has done a nice job with this product -- it’s definitely an enjoyable option, especially up against other coconut waters available in the natural channel.
