BevNET.com, Inc. (“BevNET”, “we”, “us”) runs a text line at (781) 423-3520 for attendees of BevNET, Nosh and Brewbound live events. These terms and this privacy policy apply to text messages with that line. Where this policy differs from our general Privacy Policy, this policy controls for your mobile information.

How attendees start a conversation

We publish this call to action on our event websites and on signs at our events:

SMS Terms and Conditions

  • Program. Attendees of BevNET, Nosh and Brewbound live events can text (781) 423-3520 for on-site help, such as registration, badges, directions and the schedule. Our event staff reply to the messages you send.
  • How you opt in. You opt in by texting the number first. We only send messages in reply to messages you send us, and we never send marketing messages on this line.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies with your conversation.
  • Costs. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opting out. Text STOP to (781) 423-3520 at any time. You’ll receive one confirmation message and no further messages. To start again, text START.
  • Help. Text HELP to (781) 423-3520 or email [email protected].
  • Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Changes. We may update these terms and this policy; the current version is always posted on this page.

SMS Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you text the event staff line, we receive:

  • your mobile phone number
  • the messages, photos and other media you send
  • the time of each message, and delivery status for the replies we send

How we use it

We use this information only to:

  • reply to your messages and help you at our events
  • match your phone number to your event registration so our staff can assist you (this match never changes your registration or account)
  • keep a record of the conversation for event operations and support

We do not use the text line for marketing.

How we share it

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We share text-line information only with service providers that help us run it, such as our text-message delivery provider and the workplace messaging tool our staff use to reply. They may use it only to provide that service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law.

We do not sell or rent your mobile information.
