White Peach Green Tea
Category: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Packaging: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review:
Cricket's White Peach Green Tea is the latest flavor for a brand whose niche is green tea soda. From a flavor point of view, it's pretty enjoyable, bringing together the earthy flavor of green tea, the sweetness of peach, and the crispness being carbonated. The flavors are well balanced, with pleasant notes of fruit and tea flavor followed by a medium level of sweetness (invert cane sugar). On the packaging front, the product's label is a bit confusing. First and foremost, the wording implies that this is peach flavored with added green tea. Second, the word "sparkling" is hidden off to the side. In our opinion, simplifying things (such as "Sparkling Green Tea with Peach") would be helpful. Overall, an enjoyable tasting product that should appeal to Cricket's existing niche, but we'd like to see some packaging improvements to help further its mainstream appeal.

Mandarin Green Tea
Category: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Packaging: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review:
Mixing mandarin orange flavor with green tea is a pretty safe bet, both in terms of flavor and marketability. In terms of taste, it works quite well, giving a sweet citrus flavor that hides most of the green tea flavor up until the finish. There's no fruit juice in this product, but the flavor is executed well enough that it might fool you. The outside of the bottle is the same as the other varieties, complete with a colorful paper label stuck to the long neck bottle. Still, we think that this is the least attractive of the color schemes on the four varieties of Cricket, which is mainly because the colors are much brighter. Overall, an excellent flavor, but we're not fans of the color scheme.

Pomegranate Raspberry Green Tea
Category: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Packaging: 12 oz glass
BevNET Review:
Blending pomegranate and raspberry flavors with green tea is more appetizing and intuitive than mixing it with cola and the resulting Cricket product is no surprise. The flavor is sweet and crisp, with an earthy green tea flavor to the finish. There's no juice in this thing (aside from juice added for coloring), but the taste is fairly natural and accurate. The long neck packaging is reasonably attractive, with a female oriented feeling to the design. Overall, there are certainly improvements that could be made to this product, but we think it's a solid start that will help Cricket branch out.

Cricket Cola
Category: Carbonated Soft Drink: Regular; Packaging: 12 fl oz glass
BevNET Review:
Cricket Cola is a unqiue cola made with green tea. Sure, this is a bit unorthodox, but the the taste will make you put any reservations that you may have aside. It's extremely refreshing and quite possibly the cleanest cola we've ever tasted. Made with real sugar, natural flavors, green tea, vanilla, and kola nut, this product has an extremely distinct flavor. The combination of the green tea, kola nut, and vanilla gives the product a sweet vanilla flavor and a slightly herbal finish. Definitely give this product a try.

Diet Cricket Cola
Category: Carbonated Soft Drink: Diet; Packaging: 12 fl oz glass
BevNET Review:
Cricket Cola recently reformulated its Diet Cricket and with good results. The green tea base is more prominent in the diet version but the cola is still noticable. Cricket sprung for the good stuff and used sucralose as its sweetener. There is very little aftertaste, although we feel it could be a bit sweeter. This a very original and high quality product.
