Initially launched in New York City, Honest Tea’s Raspberry Tea is a new offering that very much follows in the footsteps of the company's successful line of “Just a Tad Sweet” organic teas. This particular flavor blends organic and Fair Trade black tea, sugar, organic raspberry juice and a few other select ingredients. The result is a product that’s big on tea flavor and light on everything else, including both the sweetness and raspberry levels. Compared with the majority of raspberry teas that are on the market, this product has much more in the way of tea flavor. Perhaps more importantly, the product has only 80 calories and 20g of sugar per 16.9 oz. bottle, which definitely makes it a nice alternative to the sugary mainstream options that are out there. Visually, this product has the same clean look that we’ve come to expect from Honest Tea’s PET bottled teas. While it’s not the most eye-popping design, it’s certainly easy to see what it is and who makes it. And as a line extension, that’s definitely a good thing. Overall, a very nice -- and very mainstream -- addition to the brand.
