BevNET Review: If you've ever had Big Red chewing gum, the flavor of Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Fire will be very familiar to you. It has a sweet spiced flavor that has a cherry flavor that finishes with a nice cinnamon spice. For a mainstream CSD, it's actually not bad -- and it's certainly the best Jolly Rancher flavor to date. Still, we think that it would be wise to lose the HFCS and get a package that doesn't look like a Coke or Pepsi bottle.. Reviewed on: 4/26/2007

BevNET Review: This is a light-tasting but calorie-dense soda that somehow manages to translate the taste of the famous candy into liquid form. It’s a nice brand, but we’re not sure that the packaging does it credit – it’s rather flimsy and uninspired. The orange flavor is certainly sucking-candy like but otherwise isn’t a great rendition of any kind of realistic orange. Only a must for candy fans.Reviewed on: 11/9/2006

Green Apple

BevNET Review: There’s nothing real or natural tasting about this product until a bit of green apple aftertaste arrives after the swallow. But it does manage to ape the taste of the green apple Jolly Rancher candy effectively. Whether or not that’s a good thing is for the drinker to determine, but we think there’s a particularly effective package here for drawing those drinkers in, unless they’ve got major Jolly Rancher cravings.Reviewed on: 11/9/2006

Blue Raspberry

BevNET Review: If we were giving out prizes for strongest blue raspberry smell, this product would certainly win, but as for taste, it’s just not overly accurate or impressive. It is very, very sweet and syrupy, and has an unnatural-looking blue color. The 20-oz. PET bottle is pretty flimsy, and the label very generic-looking. They could have taken better advantage of the iconography of the classic candy.Reviewed on: 7/13/2006

Watermelon

BevNET Review: By far our favorite flavor of this brand, watermelon benefits from its status as the best of the Jolly Rancher candy flavors, as well. It also benefits from the fact that artificial watermelon flavor is one of the few tastes that rivals the natural flavor of the fruit itself. That’s not to say that this is mind-blowingly good, but it might be the only one for which consumers might find themselves with a real hankering. But the packaging needs to be classed up a bit.
