Pineapple Soda

BevNET Review: Olde Philadelphia Pineapple is a truly mediocre soda. The product has a lightly sweet flavor, but there's just not a whole lot of taste to this product. It's basically just a generic soda flavor and is not very pleasing to the mouth. We'd recommend putting a sweeter more defined pineapple flavor into this product. BevNET Review: Olde Philadelphia Orange Cream Soda is a decent version of the ever-popular "creamsicle" soda, but there's nothing that's really special about this product. It's just your basic soda. Fortunately, the flavor is drinkable, featuring a light orange flavor with a slightly sweet finish to it. Overall, this product could use some improvement in order to stand out on the shelf and to keep consumers coming back.Reviewed on: 12/3/2003

Grape Soda

BevNET Review: Like some of the other Olde Philadelphia flavors, Grape Soda has a pretty light flavor. In some of the other flavors the light flavor does not taste good -- but for the grape product, it provides ample refreshment. It's not the best grape soda we've ever had, but it's a pretty decent one. It would definitely be improved with cane sugar and perhaps some better packaging. BevNET Review: Olde Philadelphia's Cream Soda is great. It's sweet, creamy, and has a very clean finish to it. It's quite refreshing and is something that we could drink on a regular basis. This was definitely our favorite flavor of the Olde Philadelphia brand. Reviewed on: 11/25/2003

Diet Cream Soda

BevNET Review: Oddly enough, Diet Cream Soda is probably one of the better flavors of this brand. It's light and doesn't have a lot of cream flavor, but it does have a smooth and somewhat clean finish. The product surprisingly uses sucralose and ace-k which overall gives the product a less "diet" feel. We still think the packaging looks pretty generic, but the flavor alone makes this product something that we would recommend to diet drinkers.Reviewed on: 12/3/2003

BevNET Review: Olde Philadelphia Black Cherry is a decent quality soda that appears to be sweetened with cane sugar. The flavor is good, but has a slightly artificial tasting finish to it. We'd probably like to see this flavor have a slightly sweeter taste to it. Overall, a good product but definitely room to improve.Reviewed on: 11/17/2003

BevNET Review: Olde Philadelphia Root Beer is a light and crisp style root beer that has a mild wintergreen flavor to the finish. It's not extremely rich or creamy, but it's definitely a root beer that could be consumed on a regular basis. Plus, the product is made with cane sugar so it has a pretty clean feeling in your mouth. Overall, we like this product but can't help feeling that the packaging is a little generic looking -- definitely room for improvement on that front.Reviewed on: 11/17/2003
