BevNET Review: Combining excellent flavor and attractive packaging, Dragonfruit 9 is another well executed flavor in the Vitaminenergy lineup. The crisp berry flavor is easy to drink from start to finish, with a well-balanced vitamin enriched taste that is extremely satisfying. And with 150mg of caffeine (naturally derived) per can, this stuff has some kick to it. You'll also find other standard energy ingredients, such as taurine and B vitamins, but otherwise, there's little in this drink that feels "standard" While we're not sure that this product is truly an evolutionary step for the category, we certainly believe that this product has the right stuff to catapult Glaceau into the upper tier of the energy drink category.

BevNET Review: Despite having the same amount of sugar as the other two flavors, Fruit Punch 21 is the sweetest variety of Vitaminenergy's initial three. This is likely a good thing, especially for consumers who are used to many of the sweet energy drinks that are currently on the market. In essence, this product is a carbonated and energy-enhanced version of the Vitaminwater flavor of the same name. However, the addition of carbonation and "energy" elements makes a big difference and this product drinks extremely well, especially against other products in the category. And, of course, there's the can, which is the most obvious physical difference for the product. They've done a good job translating the simple branding of Vitaminwater over to Vitaminenergy, which certainly gives it a leg up on anyone else entering the category. Overall, a well executed, worthy addition to the crowded energy drink category.

BevNET Review: Glaceau's Vitaminenergy lineup had to have a citrus flavor and Tropical Citrus 18 is it. Based on the Vitaminwater "energy" variety (also tropical citrus flavored), this product translates quite well to a carbonated format, resulting in a vitamin rich flavor that is both refreshing and functional. The tropical citrus flavor is absolutely enjoyable and it will satisfy those who like vitamin water as well as those who enjoy energy drinks. The packaging is also done in the trademark Vitaminwater style, giving the product instant credibility and brand power. The can, which features a sleeve wrap label, is colorful and has pop, and we think that this will be an easy transition for the Glaceau brand. Overall, a superb product.
