Manufacturer's Brand Overview [Edit]

There's a reason some things reach classic status, and it's no surprise that Yoo-hoo Chocolate has tickled the palates of devoted fans for 8+ decades. Not only is it chock-full of rich, chocolatey goodness it's got 5 vitamins and 2 minerals and is 99% fat and caffeine free! Good AND good for you? What more could a choco-freak ask for?

Double Fudge

BevNET Review: We have to admit that the though of Yoo-Hoo Double Fudge was a bit scary to us. First of all, Yoo-Hoo is not exactly known for it's natural tasting chocolate flavor. This being said, the flavor of this product can only be described in one way. Specifically, this product tastes like cold instant hot chocolate. Compared to regular Yoo-Hoo or other chocolate drinks, this product is definitely worth a look. Compared to some of the higher end imported chocolate milk products, we'd have to pass. Also, we're very curious to see how this product sells with the darker label -- we think the bright yellow label will overshadow this product. Overall, a good entry by Yoo-Hoo that's worth a try but won't stand up to the high-end products.Reviewed on: 3/5/2003

BevNET Review: Yoo-Hoo Chocolate Banana is a sweet chocolate drink that mixes two great flavors -- chocolate and banana. While we love the flavor of Yoo-Hoo cholate, the banana leaves something to be desired. It's a bit sweet -- adn very artificial. We recommend passing on this one.Reviewed on: 5/31/2001

Chocolate Coconut Mix-Up

BevNET Review: This was such a nasty beverage. Why couldn't Yoo-Hoo just stick to making the chocolate drink? We don't know the answer, but we do know that this stuff is nasty. The easiest way to describe the beverage is to compare it to an out of control Mounds Bar. It smells, and tastes(don't ask), like sun block The coconut vapors that you will inhale when opening this beverage are enough to make you dump it out right then. Reviewed on: 5/31/2001

BevNET Review: A truly classic beverage!! One of our all time favorites. This chocolate beverage is very unique. There are not really any other brands of chocolate drink that are still around (at least not ones that are not Yoo-Hoo clones). Yoo-hoo is a quality chocolate beverage. 99% fat free and full o' nutrients and an awesome taste. What more could we ask for??? Reviewed on: 5/31/2001
