BevNET Review
Watermelon and aloe are just about as perfect of a flavor pairing as there is, so it’s no surprise that ALO Comfort tastes as good as it does. Plus, the product has added peach juice, which, at least as a tertiary flavor, definitely enhances the experience. That said, it’s still a very straightforward tasting product, with each of the three flavors being easily distinguished from the mix. And this being an ALO product, it still has pieces of aloe pulp floating in the mix. Visually, the product looks and fits the part of the rest of their lineup, but with images of watermelon and a peach and a pinkish background color. We’re still not totally convinced of their conceptual naming convention (watermelon is not a comfort food...), but at least ALO has been consistent in how it has executed these products. Overall, this is our new favorite product from ALO, and it’s one that definitely lives up to the standard set by the other flavors.
