Review: Cherry Garcia

Cherry Garcia is also relatively similar to the ice cream of the same name, but something seems a bit off. There's a slight tinge of flavor that seems medicinal in nature. Otherwise, you've got a well done product that's made with real sugar, milk, cream, other flavors, and rice starch (for thickening). It's supposed to have chocolate notes, but we can't taste them -- straight cherries and cream is what we taste. It's flavorful and very very rich -- 320 calories / 12 g of fat -- so this isn't the type of product that you should consume terribly often. Overall, this is really an indulgence product -- the type that someone consumes as a treat or on an infrequent basis -- which is OK as that lines up pretty well with the Ben & Jerry's brand name. The look is good, the bottle is easy to hold, and the flavor is, for the most part, well done.
