If you've ever had Ben & Jerry's ice cream, you'll definitely recognize the flavor of this product. It literally tastes like melted Ben & Jerry's ice cream, complete with a thick consistency that pours slowly from the bottle. Fortunately, they didn't skimp on the quality of ingredients -- this beverage relies on real sugar, milk, and cream, plus they used rice starch, rather than gums, which thickens the product without impacting the flavor. Overall, we are technically very pleased with formulation. The biggest issue is the fact that it has 340 calories and 12 grams of fat per bottle. Still, if it’s a shelf stable milkshake that you want, this is second to none. As for the packaging and branding, Pepsi has wisely tried to mimic its success with the Starbucks products by using the Ben & Jerry's name on this product. It has a premium feeling that is definitely true to the Ben & Jerry's name. Overall, a job well done -- but a reduction in calories wouldn't hurt.
