The citrus variety of Black Hole energy drink is much more refreshing than the blueberry variety -- and we think that most consumers will agree. The flavor is reminiscent of Mountain Dew and other citrus flavored CSDs. There's a mild bite from the functional ingredients, but it doesn't negatively impact the product. Speaking purely from aesthetics, the packaging is innocuous and clean, but the image that the product presents seems vague and generic. We do not think that a black hole is a name that's synonymous with energy or one that will have a high "cool factor". Having seen and tasted hundreds of energy drinks, it seems as though this product's main appeal will be to the novelty buyer. Beyond that, it's really tough to imagine this product having a lot of pull through.
