BevNET Review
With a tweaked formula and a larger, refined can, Caballo Negro's 16-ounce entry is a significant improvement over the original. Nicknamed "Double Kick", this product has a sweet citrus-style flavor that is lightly carbonated. There's only a mild hint of aftertaste, making it above average for the category. The larger can alleviates some of the readability issues that we had with the 8-ounce version and it also makes the Mexican red, white, and green branding more obvious. Combine that with the bilingual packaging (also found on the 8-ounce) and you've got a very versatile entry that should have immediate success with Hispanic consumer. Overall, Caballo Negro Double Kick is a much improved product that is definitely worth a try, especially if Hispanic consumers are part of your clientele.
