Califia Farms Citrus Juices: Lemonade

If Califia Farms set out with the intention of making the perfect bottle of lemonade, the company has come pretty close to succeeding with its California Lemonade. Made with 15 percent lemon juice, the product is straightforward and enjoyable compared with competing products that use filler juice like apple or white grape. Unlike Califia's large format, this one does not specify if the juice is sourced from Meyer lemons, nor does the company indicate whether it is from concentrate or not. Regardless, the taste is spot on and should have broad appeal. On the packaging front, the 10.5 oz. bottle has been fully wrapped with a semi-transparent label. Compared with Califia's almond milk products, it doesn’t quite have the same visual pop. The portion of the label that fades from transparent to clear gives the product a somewhat washed out look. And it doesn’t look as vibrant as its orange-colored counterparts. Overall, we really like what’s inside the bottle, but this feels like the weakest looking variety of the line.
