Chameleon Cold-Brew: Mexican Coffee

Chameleon’s Mexican Coffee flavor is the company’s most ambitious tasting product that that it has created so far. On top of its base of cold brewed coffee, the company has added cinnamon, vanilla extract and almond extract. You can distinguish each of these three flavors from the coffee, which is definitely nice in that Chameleon has managed to find balance and restraint in how it put this particular flavor together. The company also sweetened this flavor (11g of sugar), which seems necessary given the added flavorings. Still, there’s plenty of coffee flavor and this product doesn’t disappoint. We also like the choice of color and label design for the product, which is buttoned up and appealing to the eye. We do, however, wonder if there shouldn’t be a more prominent mention of the flavor. We imagine that not many consumers will inherently know what is meant by “Mexican Coffee.” As it stands right now, you’ll either have to look at the ingredient list or the copy on the back panel. Otherwise, we really wouldn’t change a thing about this product. It’s unique, innovative and very enjoyable.
