Cheribundi: Ginger Cherry Juice (2011)

Cheribundi’s Ginger Cherry Juice pairs two highly distinct flavors into one mouth-puckering, tart beverage. This not-from-concentrate drink claims to have over 50 cherries in the bottle and has no added sugar. However, there are still 130 calories per 8 ounces. A slight note of ginger hits the tongue first but quickly gives way to the natural tartness of the cherry juice, which certainly awakens your palate. The ginger is more apparent on the nose of the drink as opposed to the taste, but the interesting combo of ginger and cherry is certainly pleasant. The product comes packaged similarly to the rest of the Cheribundi line, in an 8 oz. PET bottle featuring a full wrap label. The playful name and logo pair well with the gold toned accent color and seem like a good way to represent the cherry and ginger flavors. Overall, we really like the combo of ginger and cherry juices in this product. A solid addition to the Cheribundi lineup.
