Clover Cold-Pressed Juice: Menage a Trois

Aside from perhaps the name, this is a pretty straightforward and enjoyable blend of raw carrot, apple and ginger juices (hence the name). There’s no HPP or pasteurization to this product, so shelf life is super short, but if you get it fresh, it’s a great-tasting product. There’s otherwise not really a whole lot to say about the flavor -- except that Clover nailed it. The three fruit flavors are nicely balanced in that you’ve got just the right amount of sweet, spice and vegetable notes. It’s both quenching and nourishing, so it’s pretty hard not to consume the whole bottle in one sitting. On the outside, the product looks clean and delicious, with the white and black text on the label working nicely against the bright orange backdrop of the liquid. Still, like the other Clover flavors, we can’t help but wish that this product had a bit more visual pop to stand out from the competition. Regardless, while the cold-pressed juice category is still evolving, we think that Clover has done a superb job with this product.
