Review: Lavender (2010)

Lavender is an herbal ingredient that hasn't really seen much action in the food and beverage world. And when you taste this product, you'll probably wonder why. Starting with a very soothing lavender aroma, the product's flavor is floral and delicate tasting, with a very light amount of lavender hitting your palate. The addition of the carbonation and sugar (19g -- the highest of the brand) give the product some depth, but still keeps the product light in your mouth. All in all, it's a very unique and satisfying flavor. The bottle, which recently got a makeover, still has a minimalist design to it, which is the perfect complement to the minimalist flavor of the liquid. The vertical text on the old design has been replaced with a splash of purple and white lettering. It's eye catching and easy to read, which is definitely what we look for in a beverage package. Plus, it feels more sophisticated and chic than the old version. Overall, a very nice entry from Dry.
