Review: Pineapple Coconut Water

Evolution Fresh’s second attempt at coconut water (they previously made a straight unflavored coconut water) comes in the form of a blend of coconut water and pineapple juice. From our point of view, this product has a bit too much in the way of pineapple juice, which makes it somewhat difficult to taste the coconut water. Considering that their high pressure processed coconut water probably tastes very good in a comparison with the shelf-stable products on the market today, it’s a letdown that you can’t really taste it. Otherwise, the product is perfectly fine, with the high pressure processing resulting in a flavor that tastes super fresh and flavorful. On the outside, this flavor of Evolution Fresh follows the same format as the others. We’d describe it as understated, but polished, which is exactly how the flavor of the drink can be described. Overall, it’s a very strong product, but a little less pineapple juice would make it even better.
