The Green Tea variety of Evy Tea blends Meyer lemon and basil with cold-brewed green tea. In our opinion, this was the most refreshing tasting flavor of the lineup. The blend of full bodied green tea pairs almost perfectly with the citrus and herb flavors, which results in something that has very nice depth of flavor and is very refreshing. Plus, it’s a zero-calorie formulation that is successful without needing any sweetener. That’s something that’s always an impressive feat in our book. Overall, we really enjoyed the intensity and complexity of this uniquely-flavored product. Packaging, on the other hand, feels like it’s still a work in progress, but it’s one that definitely feels like it’s headed in the right direction. The 10 oz. glass bottle is simple and clean-looking, but the design of the logo feels a bit muted relative to the other text elements on the label. In addition, we feel as though the typography used on the lower portion of the front label could be cleaned up. Finally, we wonder if there shouldn’t be a more prominent call-out for the lack of sweetener and calories. Ultimately, we really like the concept and this is a nice first effort from Evy Tea.
