Compared with some of the more mainstream flavors that grace the Four Point Zero seltzer lineup, this one is the most adventurous. Pairing mango and cilantro, this is the standout flavor of the lineup. It offers something that’s original and unique, with execution that’s at a level above their other flavors. There’s a sharp note of fresh cilantro, which, assuming you like cilantro, is very enjoyable. The mango adds a subtle tropical note to it, but without having any sweetness it’s not a very strong flavor. Finally, there’s the level of carbonation, which is the product’s reason for being and the inspiration for the product’s brand name. Specifically, the product uses 4.0 volumes of CO2 (or “Four Point Zero”), which is what the company claims is the optimal level of carbonation for this product. In our tests, it’s certainly a nice happy medium of not being over- or under-carbonated. All in all, we really enjoyed this product and hope that Four Point Zero can craft similar formulations in the future. Packaging and branding start with a 12 oz. glass bottle and a simple square shaped label. It’s not the fanciest looking sparkling water out there, but we like the approach that the company has taken. It’s modern, clean, and polished, which is exactly how we’d describe the liquid inside the package. Overall, this was our favorite flavor of the lineup.
