BevNET Review

Marketed as a “New Orleans style” cold brew coffee, Grady’s Cold Brew is made with water, coffee, chicory, and spices. The flavor of the coffee is quite enjoyable, with a strong body and a smooth finish. The other ingredients add a touch of spice and subtle earthy sweetness to the product. Grady’s Cold Brew can either be diluted to make iced coffee (they suggest equal parts milk and coffee) or consumed hot or straight from the bottle. The product has a short shelf life (about 3 weeks), so you’ll need to drink it pretty fast -- although we don’t see that being a problem. Packaging is either a 16 ounce or 32 ounce dark amber glass bottle. This being a product from Brooklyn, it has the obligatory vintage look to the design, but it’s clean and well executed. Overall, Grady’s Cold Brew is a nicely executed product that delivers fresh coffee flavor in a cool looking bottle. It’s a great alternative to the countless dairy laden and sugar sweet coffee drinks that clutter the market. Definitely worth a try.
