Review: Lemon Cayenne

The Lemon Cayenne variety of Hint Kick is the most unique flavor of the bunch in that it offers a "kick" in both the flavor and the caffeine (60mg). The blend of lemon and cayenne works extremely well, with a light citrus note that’s followed by some heat from the cayenne. With this being a somewhat popular flavor combination of the moment (thank you juice cleanses), we feel as though this is also the most marketable of the three flavors that we sampled. That feeling only gets stronger after we consider the package, which has a vibrant red label that stands out amongst the three varieties. Really the only thing that’s missing from the label is a statement on the caffeine content. While 60mg isn’t a ton of caffeine, there’s still no reason for this to be omitted. Regardless, we really like this line extension for Hint. It takes the brand into a new category, but with a product that will be really familiar at the same time. Overall, a very well-executed product from Hint.
