House Kombucha: Jasmine Green

House Kombucha’s Jasmine Green is a mellow and very drinkable blend of raw kombucha, green tea, and jasmine tips. The flavor is extremely balanced, with a lightly fermented note from the kombucha, followed by a grassy note from the green tea. The grassiness does a nice job of cutting the vinegary flavor of the kombucha, which ultimately results in a very smooth finish. There’s only the slightest note of sweetness to the product, which allows the tea and kombucha flavors to take center stage. For us, that’s a good thing -- the drink is very easy to drink and doesn’t weigh you down (there are only 20 calories and 8g of sugar per bottle). On the outside, the product has a very clean looking design, with a cylindrical 16 oz. bottle and a clear label (which is nicer than the black label used on the Vanilla Orchid Root). The design of the logo looks handmade and minimlaist, which nicely complements the handmade style of the drink. Overall, House Kombucha’s Jasmine Green is a clean and enjoyable kombucha product that’s definitely worth a try.
