Kalahari Rooibos Red Tea: Ladysmith Lemon

This premium decaf RTD red tea from Kalahari has a nice balance of lemon, tea and sweetness in a handsome package that tastefully expresses the company’s South African roots. The idea of blending red tea (rooibos) and decaffeinated black creates a strong tea flavor that doesn’t incorporate the occasional grassiness that straight rooibos can cause; the cane sugar and lemon flavor make it taste like a just-brewed decaf iced tea. As for the bottle, it’s apparent that some work went into the PET product’s label design: the front has a handsome, well-organized red “badge” with a background map of Africa, while there are explanations of rooibos overall and Ladysmith Lemon’s particular characteristics on the back. This is definitely worth a try.
