BevNET Review
The Original variety of Leaf Up’s Aloe Juice is, as far as other aloe vera juice products that we’ve sampled go, a clean and straightforward tasting product. It has a blend of aloe vera gel, aloe vera powder, aloe vera puree, white grape concentrate, sugar, honey, added vitamins, and a few other ingredients. It’s slightly lighter in body than some of the other products out there, which is definitely a plus, although there’s a little too much grape flavor to it. Packaging is the biggest point of differentiation, with a small 9.3 oz. bottle being a nice alternative to some of the larger plastic bottles out there. Given aloe’s sugar and caloric content, this is definitely something that could make this product stand out. Visually, we like the design that they’ve created from an aesthetic point of view, but it’s confusing as to what the brand name actually is. There’s a large round circle that says “Aloe Juice” and small text that says “leaf up.” Adjusting the visuals so that there’s no doubt would certainly be helpful. Overall, we like what they’ve done, but some adjustments to the flavor and label design would take it further.
